Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked, chopped chicken
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can cream of chicken or celery soup
  • 1 stick butter or oleo, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 4 eggs, boiled and chopped
  • 1 cup sweet milk
  • 1 cup self-rising flour

Instructions

  1. Grease a casserole dish.
  2. Place cooked, chopped chicken on the bottom of the dish.
  3. Add chopped boiled eggs over the chicken.
  4. Mix the cream of chicken or celery soup with chicken broth.
  5. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken and eggs.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix self-rising flour, sweet milk, and melted butter until smooth.
  7. Pour the flour mixture over the top of the chicken mixture in the casserole dish.
  8. Bake uncovered at 350°F for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until golden and bubbly.
