Ingredients

  • 3/4 stick margarine
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 pound can cherries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt margarine in a baking dish and let it cool.
  3. In a bowl, mix self-rising flour, sugar, and milk until combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the cooled melted margarine in the baking dish without stirring.
  5. Add the can of cherries in the middle of the batter without stirring.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes at 350°F until golden and bubbly.
