Sesame Cumin Bow Ties

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine cumin and salt.
- Sprinkle half of the salt mixture and 1 tablespoon of sesame seed over a lightly floured work surface.
- Place the thawed puff pastry sheet on top.
- Sprinkle the remaining salt mixture and sesame seed over the pastry.
- Roll the pastry into a rectangle approximately 11 x 14 inches.
- While rolling, press sesame seeds into the surface of the pastry.
- Cut the pastry crosswise into strips about 1 inch wide, then cut each strip into 4 shorter pieces.
- Twist each strip and pinch the center to form a bow tie shape.
- Place the bow ties about 1 inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Beat the egg white with 1 tablespoon of water and brush over the top of each bow tie.
- Bake until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
