Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 2 (10 oz.) frozen strawberries
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip
  • 1 angel food cake

Instructions

  1. Combine the strawberry Jell-O and boiling water in a bowl.
  2. Add frozen strawberries to the mixture; chill until the mixture starts to thicken.
  3. Beat the Cool Whip into the thickened mixture.
  4. Break the angel food cake into small pieces.
  5. Layer the cake pieces and strawberries in a large truffle bowl.
  6. Refrigerate until the dessert is set.
  7. Top with fresh strawberries before serving.
