Shasta Cake

Instructions
- Prepare the cake mix according to the box instructions and bake.
- Allow the cake to cool completely.
- Poke holes in the cooled cake with a finger or wooden spoon handle.
- In a separate bowl, pour the can of strawberry pop.
- Add enough water to the strawberry pop to make 2 cups of liquid.
- Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Add the small package of strawberry jello to the boiling liquid and stir until dissolved.
- Pour the jello mixture into the holes in the cake and refrigerate until cool.
- Mix the instant vanilla pudding with slightly less milk than called for and prepare according to package instructions.
- Fold in the container of Cool Whip into the vanilla pudding.
- Spread the vanilla pudding and Cool Whip mixture over the cooled cake to ice it.
