- In a large pot, combine 1/3 cup of rice and 1 gallon of milk.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the rice is tender and the pudding has thickened, about 60 minutes.
- Stir in 1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
