Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup rice
  • 1 gallon milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine 1/3 cup of rice and 1 gallon of milk.
  2. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the rice is tender and the pudding has thickened, about 60 minutes.
  4. Stir in 1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
  5. Once cooked, remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
