Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped pimento
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 2 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin
  • 4 Tbsp. cold water
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. horseradish
  • salt and pepper
  • cleaned, chilled shrimp

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the chicken bouillon cubes in boiling water.
  2. Add unflavored gelatin softened in cold water and stir until dissolved.
  3. Mix in lemon juice, chopped pimento, diced celery, and horseradish.
  4. Pour the mixture into a ring mold and refrigerate until firm.
  5. Unmold the aspic and fill the center with chilled, cleaned shrimp.
