Crispy shrimp rounds feature tender shrimp topped with flavorful sauce on toasted bread, perfect as an appetizer or snack for seafood lovers and entertaining guests.

Ingredients

  • thin white bread
  • butter, softened
  • Durkee famous sauce
  • canned or fresh shrimp
  • parsley

Instructions

  1. Cut small rounds of thin white bread with a 1 to 1½-inch cutter.
  2. Butter one side of each bread round and spread Durkee sauce on the other side.
  3. Place the bread rounds into a large frying pan.
  4. Top the sauce side with small canned or cooked fresh shrimp.
  5. Add a tiny dab of Durkee sauce and a small parsley leaf on top of each shrimp.
  6. Refrigerate until ready to cook or fry until golden brown on the bottom.
  7. Serve immediately after heating.
