Instructions
- Melt butter in a skillet; add rice and stir until golden brown.
- Remove from heat and add mushrooms, salt and pepper, and dressing mix to the rice; stir well.
- Add enough hot water to the reserved mushroom liquid to make 2 cups of liquid and pour over the rice mixture.
- Bring to a boil, then pour into a buttered dish.
- Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes.
