Six Minute Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. broccoli
  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. toasted sesame seed

Instructions

  1. Heat a dry skillet and add the sesame seeds.
  2. Stir until light brown, about 2 to 3 minutes, or roast in a 300°F oven for 20 minutes.
  3. In a pot, bring 3/4 cup water to a boil.
  4. Add broccoli, salt, sugar, and oil to the boiling water.
  5. Cook for 6 minutes until broccoli is tender.
  6. Remove from heat and drain if necessary.
  7. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the broccoli before serving.
