Instructions
- Melt margarine in an iron frypan.
- Place onion slices in a single layer in the pan.
- Sprinkle with about 2 tablespoons of brown sugar.
- Cover and cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
- Turn the onions and sprinkle with the remaining sugar.
- Cook uncovered for 5 minutes.
- Uncover and cook, basting with the margarine-sugar mixture, for 5 minutes longer or until tender.
