Ingredients

  • 6 tea bags
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 6 whole allspice
  • 1 cinnamon stick (3-inch), broken
  • 1 quart cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Steep tea bags in boiling water for 5 minutes.
  2. Discard tea bags.
  3. Pour the tea into the slow cooker.
  4. Wrap all spices in a spice ball or cheesecloth and add to the tea.
  5. Stir in brown sugar and cranberry juice cocktail.
  6. Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 1 hour.
  7. Add wine and cook on low for 4 to 8 hours.
