Instructions
- Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C).
- Pour about 1 cup water into a roasting pan.
- Place the ribs, fat side up, on a rack in the roasting pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Roast the ribs for 20 minutes.
- Reduce oven temperature to 300°F (150°C).
- Continue roasting until the ribs are tender, about 2 1/2 hours.
