Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 cups pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C).
  2. Beat the egg white to a stiff peak.
  3. Add flour, brown sugar, and vanilla to the egg white and fold gently.
  4. Add pecan halves and coat well with the mixture.
  5. Spread the coated pecans on a greased brown paper bag or baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  7. Turn off the oven and leave the pecans inside for an additional 30 minutes to cool and set.
