A savory smoked oyster log with creamy cheese and rich smoky flavor, perfect for elegant appetizers and served with crackers at gatherings or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • dash of garlic powder
  • dash of onion powder
  • 3.66 oz. can smoked oysters, drained and chopped
  • dried green onion

Instructions

  1. Combine softened cream cheese and mayonnaise; blend well.
  2. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Spread 1/4 inch thick mixture on waxed paper and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Spread chopped smoked oysters on the cream cheese mixture and roll up jellyroll fashion.
  5. Roll the log in dried green onion.
  6. Chill overnight.
  7. Cut into 1/2 inch slices.
  8. Serve with crackers.
