- Fry bacon and reserve drippings.
- Clean corn and cut lengthwise 1/4 inch from the top; scrape corn with the side of a blade of a knife to get corn milk.
- Mix all ingredients except grease; season and pour in hot grease or oil.
- Reduce fire to low.
- Cook covered for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add water if it starts to stick.
