Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jell-O gelatin (any fruit flavor)
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. light cream
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Dissolve Jell-O, sugar, and salt in boiling water.
  2. Stir in light cream and vanilla; mixture may look curdled but will become smooth.
  3. Stir in sour cream.
  4. Chill until slightly thickened, then beat until smooth.
  5. Pour into a 3 or 4-cup ring mold.
  6. Chill until firm.
  7. Unmold and serve.
