Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 quarts roasted pecan halves

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar, sour cream, and vanilla in a large pot.
  2. Stir and bring to a boil.
  3. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring often.
  4. Pour in roasted pecan halves.
  5. Stir until liquid is absorbed.
  6. Pour onto waxed paper; separate so pecans will dry without sticking together.
  7. Allow to dry.
  8. Store in an airtight container.
