Spaghetti Balls

Ingredients

  • 2 c. dry t.v.p. (textured vegetable protein - soy product)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • pinch of black pepper
  • 2 to 3 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Soak 2 cups dry t.v.p. in 1 3/4 cups boiling water for 10 minutes.
  2. Then add remainder of ingredients.
  3. Mix. Mold into 1-inch diameter balls.
  4. Press firmly.
  5. Fry in oil until crispy.
  6. Serve with spaghetti sauce on noodles.
