- Chop or grind up 1 can of Spam until fine.
- Chop or blend 1 small onion or 1/2 cup of onion.
- Grate or use pre-grated 4 ounces of Cheddar cheese.
- Mix the chopped Spam, onion, and cheese in a medium bowl.
- Separate the buns and split the tops and bottoms.
- Spread the mixture about 1/4-inch thick on each bun half.
- Set oven to broil or place the Spam burgers in the broiler or toaster oven.
- Broil for approximately 5 minutes or until light brown.
- Serve hot.
