Ingredients

  • 1 can Spam
  • 4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion

Instructions

  1. Chop or grind up 1 can of Spam until fine.
  2. Chop or blend 1 small onion or 1/2 cup of onion.
  3. Grate or use pre-grated 4 ounces of Cheddar cheese.
  4. Mix the chopped Spam, onion, and cheese in a medium bowl.
  5. Separate the buns and split the tops and bottoms.
  6. Spread the mixture about 1/4-inch thick on each bun half.
  7. Set oven to broil or place the Spam burgers in the broiler or toaster oven.
  8. Broil for approximately 5 minutes or until light brown.
  9. Serve hot.
