Spanish Coffee is a fiery, indulgent cocktail combining rich coffee flavors with a splash of liqueurs, topped with whipped cream and chocolate jimmies. Perfect for entertaining or a cozy nightcap, it offers a dramatic flaming presentation and a delightful mix of sweetness and warmth.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 1/2 oz brandy
  • 1/2 oz Kahlua
  • 1 oz Amaretto
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • whipped cream
  • hot coffee
  • chocolate jimmies

Instructions

  1. Use a red wine glass with a large bowl.
  2. Heat water in the glass in the microwave.
  3. Make one drink at a time.
  4. Place the Cointreau and sugar in the glass and swirl, then carefully flame to caramelize the sugar.
  5. Add hot coffee to the glass.
  6. Add the rest of the liquor (brandy, Kahlua, Amaretto).
  7. Top with whipped cream, sprinkle with sugar, and garnish with chocolate jimmies.
  8. Turn off the lights when flaming for a spectacular show and enjoy the drink.
