Special Poultry Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine or butter, melted
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, seeded and diced
  • 1 heaping c. celery, diced
  • 1 (2 oz.) jar pimentos, diced
  • 1 c. pecans, split lengthwise
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 (8 oz.) bag Pepperidge Farm herb seasoned stuffing

Instructions

  1. Melt butter.
  2. Add onion, green pepper, celery and pimento and saute for 1 minute.
  3. Add pecans and toss lightly.
  4. Add water. Cover and simmer 3 minutes.
  5. Add stuffing and mix well.
  6. Remove from heat and cool before stuffing poultry or pork chops.
  7. Makes enough stuffing for an 8 to 10 pound turkey or chicken.
