Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 3/4 c. beef gravy
  • 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. dry sherry
  • 1/2 c. sour cream dip with onion
  • hot cooked noodles or rice

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, brown hamburger and drain.
  2. Stir in gravy. Stir in undrained mushrooms and catsup.
  3. Add 1 cup water.
  4. Cover; bring to boiling.
  5. Simmer, covered, for 15 minutes.
  6. Stir in wine.
  7. Gradually blend 1 cup beef mixture into sour cream dip.
  8. Return to saucepan.
  9. Heat through, but do not boil.
  10. Serve over noodles and sprinkle with paprika.
