Spiced-Apple Iced Tea

Ingredients

  • 3 black-tea bags
  • 2 apple-spice tea bags
  • Zest of 1 orange in large strips
  • 1 2-inch piece of fresh ginger (peeled, cut into fourths)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 4 cups apple juice

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine black-tea bags, apple-spice tea bags, orange zest, ginger, cinnamon stick, cloves and honey. Pour boiling water over mixture, stirring until honey dissolves. Let stand for 20 minutes. Add apple juice and chill for at least 4 hours. Strain into pitcher and serve over ice.
