- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- In a bowl, mix all spices together and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a nonstick skillet over low heat.
- Add spices to the skillet and stir well.
- Simmer for 3-4 minutes to mellow flavors.
- Place nuts in a bowl.
- Scrape the spice mixture onto the nuts and toss well.
- Spread the coated nuts in one layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes, shaking the pan once or twice during baking.
- Remove from oven.
- Using a rubber spatula, toss the nuts with any spices and oil on the bottom of the pan.
- If desired, sprinkle with a bit more garlic salt.
- Let rest for 2 hours in a cool place before serving or storing.
