- Using solid shortening, grease the 12-cup tube pan and flour it. Also grease if the pan has a nonstick finish.
- In a large bowl, blend the yellow cake mix, instant tea with lemon, cinnamon, cloves, orange juice, cooking oil, and eggs.
- Beat the mixture for 2 minutes at the highest speed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool the cake upright in the pan for 15 minutes, then turn onto a serving plate.
