  • ground cloves
  • allspice
  • cinnamon sticks
  • cinnamon sticks

Instructions

  1. Bring to a boil all ingredients except wine; let simmer 45 minutes.
  2. Add wine.
  3. Simmer for an additional 30 to 45 minutes.
  4. Let spices settle to the bottom.
  5. Serve hot in a mug.
  6. Garnish with a wedge of lemon or orange if desired.
