Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb deer burger
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup water or beef broth

Instructions

  1. Make deer burger into small patties; dredge in flour, salt, and pepper.
  2. Brown the patties in oil on both sides in a skillet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix ketchup, water or broth, and Tabasco.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the meat in the skillet.
  5. Simmer over medium to low heat for 30 minutes, turning once, until the sauce is thick.
