Tips & Substitutions

For a spicier kick, consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the syrup mixture. If you prefer a sugar-free version, try using a sugar substitute like stevia or erythritol, adjusting the quantity according to the brand's instructions.

Serving Suggestions

Serve this spicy fruit dish as a unique dessert or a side with grilled meats. It pairs beautifully with Cocido Vegetalas (Vegetable Stew) for a contrasting flavor experience. For an elegant touch, garnish with fresh mint or a dollop of whipped cream to elevate the presentation.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. The flavors will meld and intensify over time. To reheat, gently warm in a saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, or serve chilled for a refreshing treat.
