Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 4 bananas
  • 2 apples
  • 2 pears
  • 1 pomegranate
  • 2 apricots
  • 1 medium bunch grapes
  • 1 can pineapple
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. pepper
  • 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Open the can of chickpeas and add them to a large dish.
  2. Peel and thinly slice the bananas.
  3. Peel and chop the apples into small pieces about 1 inch in size.
  4. Peel and chop the pears into small pieces about 1 inch in size.
  5. Slice the apricots into pieces about the same size as the apples and pears.
  6. Peel and remove the seeds from the pomegranate and add the seeds to the dish.
  7. Cut the seedless grapes into halves and mix them into the dish.
  8. Open the can of pineapple and add chunks about 1 inch in size.
  9. Pour in the orange juice and mix well with the fruits and chickpeas.
  10. Add lemon juice, salt, sugar, and pepper to taste and mix thoroughly.
  11. Serve and enjoy this fresh, flavorful fruit chaat!
