Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
  • 1 cup picante salsa or 1 cup favorite salsa
  • 1/2 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 tablespoon finely chopped fresh jalapeno (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients.
  2. Cook until hot and bubbly.
  3. Serve warm or room temperature.
  4. Makes 2 to 3 cups.
