Spinach And Mushroom Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1/4 lb. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 c. seasoned bread stuffing
  • 1/3 c. light cream or half and half
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • poultry seasoning to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in skillet. Add onion and mushrooms. Saute for about 5 minutes. Add bread stuffing, cream, basil, poultry seasoning and spinach. Stir together lightly.
  2. Let cool.
  3. Stuff the bird.
  4. Ingredients may be increased to accomodate a larger bird.
