Spinach In A Bread Bowl

A creamy spinach dip served inside a hollowed-out crusty bread loaf, perfect for sharing at parties and gatherings with its savory, cheesy flavors and bread bowl presentation.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. onion, minced
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained well
  • 1 envelope vegetable soup mix
  • 2 loaves round crusty bread

Instructions

  1. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, chopped water chestnuts, minced onion, thawed and drained chopped spinach, and vegetable soup mix in a bowl.
  2. Cut a circle in the top of one loaf of bread and hollow out the bread to create a bowl.
  3. Fill the hollowed-out bread with the spinach mixture.
  4. Cut the remaining loaf into cubes to serve alongside.
  5. Serve with small knives or forks to spread and enjoy the spinach dip with bread cubes.
