Ingredients

  • 10 oz. frozen spinach, thawed
  • 8 oz. can water chestnuts, sliced thin
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 package vegetable soup mix
  • 1 uncut loaf rye or pumpernickel bread

Instructions

  1. Mix the thawed spinach, sliced water chestnuts, sour cream, mayonnaise, and vegetable soup mix together in a bowl.
  2. Cut the top off the loaf of bread and scoop out the center to create a hollow 'bowl'.
  3. Fill the hollowed-out bread with the spinach spread.
  4. Cut the scooped-out bread into pieces for spreading or dipping.
  5. Serve when the spread is all gone, enjoy!
