Ingredients

  • fresh leaf spinach
  • cooking oil
  • cooking starch
  • teriyaki sauce

Instructions

  1. Put enough leaf spinach in a 10-inch frying pan to pile up about 4 inches above the top of the pan.
  2. Pour in about 1/4 cup of cooking oil.
  3. Put the stove on medium and cook the spinach down until it is soft and oily, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. Stir with a spatula the whole time during cooking.
  5. Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce and continue to stir.
  6. Add 2 tablespoons of cooking starch and stir until thickened.
