Ingredients

  • 1 c. dried split peas
  • 1/2 c. tahini
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/3 c. lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dried mint
  • 3 Tbsp. water

Instructions

  1. Boil the split peas for 30 minutes or until soft.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add water, if necessary, to achieve desired consistency.
  4. Serve as a dip with chips or vegetables.
