Split Personality Cake

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the cake mix, margarine, and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
- Spray a 13 x 9-inch pan with Pam and pour the mixture into it. Spread evenly.
- Bake for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, melt the caramels in 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
- Remove the cake from the oven after 5 minutes.
- Spread chocolate chips and pecans evenly over the partially baked cake.
- Pour the melted caramel evenly over all the ingredients in the pan.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
- Serve warm, optionally topped with ice cream.
