Ingredients

  • 3 slices bacon
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 1/4 c. half and half milk
  • 1 pastry shell
  • 1 pkg. frozen spinach
  • 2 Tbsp. flour

Instructions

  1. Toss shredded Swiss cheese, frozen spinach, and flour together.
  2. Spread the cheese, spinach, and flour mixture in the pastry shell.
  3. Mix eggs, half and half milk, salt, and ground nutmeg together.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the spinach in the pastry shell.
  5. Gently fluff or stir to combine the ingredients.
  6. Break cooked bacon into pieces and sprinkle on top of the quiche.
  7. Sprinkle a little more ground nutmeg on top.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes or until the eggs are set.
