Ingredients

  • 3 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 1/3 cups butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 egg yolk
  • preserves

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the orange juice and egg yolk to the creamed mixture and blend well.
  3. Fill a cookie press with the dough and pipe onto ungreased baking sheets.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 10 minutes or until lightly golden.
  5. Let cookies cool before adding preserves as desired.
