Tips & Substitutions
For a lighter version, consider reducing the olive oil to 1 tablespoon and using vegetable broth instead of chicken broth. You can substitute the angel hair pasta with whole wheat or gluten-free pasta for a healthier option. If you prefer a bit of heat, add red pepper flakes while sautéing the garlic and onions. Fresh herbs like basil or parsley can elevate the dish and add freshness.
Serving Suggestions
This pasta dish pairs beautifully with a simple green salad and a side of garlic bread for a complete meal. You can also serve it alongside grilled chicken or fish for added protein. For a Mediterranean twist, consider adding olives or feta cheese on top. A glass of white wine would complement the flavors nicely.
Storage & Reheating
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, gently warm the pasta on the stove over low heat, adding a splash of chicken broth or water to prevent it from drying out. You can also microwave it in short intervals, stirring occasionally until heated through.
