Ingredients

  • 4 ears corn
  • 3 Tbsp. bacon grease
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • salt

Instructions

  1. With a sharp knife, cut the corn off the cob.
  2. Put the corn in a frying pan with bacon grease and sugar.
  3. Allow it to stew until the liquid stews out and the corn begins to fry.
  4. As it starts to brown, stir so it won't stick to the pan.
  5. Do not overcook; it should remain moist.
  6. Remove to a serving dish and place slices of side pork on top.
  7. Serve hot.
