Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb bean sprouts
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 lb French style beans
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok.
  2. Cook sliced onion for 2 minutes, then add French beans and stir-fry for 1 minute.
  3. Add water, soy sauce, lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Cook for 5 minutes, tossing beans in the liquid until it has evaporated.
  5. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until tender.
  6. Add bean sprouts and fry for 2 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately with roasted or broiled meat.
