Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. sirloin
  • 5 large onions
  • 2 Tbsp. Bovril
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves

Instructions

  1. Put olive oil in a 6-quart pot.
  2. Place onions on the floor of the pot and put the beef over the raw onions.
  3. The beef can be frozen if needed.
  4. Add Bovril, garlic cloves, seasonings, and pepper.
  5. Cover and simmer on very low fire for a couple of hours.
  6. Keep the cover on during cooking.
