Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
  • 1 (4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. pecans

Instructions

  1. Dissolve one package of strawberry Jell-O in one cup of boiling water and fold in half of the frozen strawberries and drained pineapple.
  2. Pour the mixture into a serving dish and refrigerate until it congeals.
  3. Spread sour cream over the chilled Jell-O layer and sprinkle with pecans.
  4. Dissolve the second package of strawberry Jell-O in one cup of boiling water.
  5. Fold in the remaining frozen strawberries and drained pineapple, then spoon over the congealed salad.
  6. Refrigerate until the salad is firm and ready to serve.
