Ingredients

  • 1 angel food cake
  • 4 cups fresh strawberries
  • 2 packages strawberry pie filling
  • 16 ounces Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Mix Cool Whip and cream cheese until smooth.
  2. In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch casserole pan, cover the bottom with pieces of angel food cake.
  3. Spread the strawberry pie filling over the cake.
  4. Layer the fresh strawberries on top of the pie filling.
  5. Spread the Cool Whip and cream cheese mixture over the strawberries.
  6. Garnish with whipped cream and fresh strawberries if desired.
