Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • ice cream
  • strawberries

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg whites until frothy.
  2. Add the sugar, one tablespoon at a time, beating until very stiff.
  3. Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions; shape into nests on heavy paper or a cookie sheet.
  4. Bake for about 1 hour at 250°.
  5. When done, place the sheet on a damp cloth and lift off the nest.
  6. Let cool.
  7. Fill with ice cream and strawberries.
