Ingredients

  • 6 oz. raspberry gelatin
  • 2 cups apple juice
  • 2 cups applesauce
  • 2 large bananas
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the raspberry gelatin in hot apple juice.
  2. Add 1 1/2 cups of applesauce, sliced bananas, and chopped celery to the gelatin mixture.
  3. Pour half of the mixture into a 1-quart dish or mold.
  4. Chill for 30 minutes.
  5. Leave the remaining half of the gelatin mixture at room temperature.
  6. Combine the remaining 1/2 cup applesauce with sour cream and spread over the chilled gelatin layer.
  7. Pour the remaining gelatin mixture over the sour cream layer.
  8. Chill until the dessert is firm before serving.
