Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen or canned whole kernel corn
  • 1/2 pint whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • a dash of cayenne pepper
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour

Instructions

  1. Heat the corn, milk, cream, and seasoning to a rolling boil.
  2. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Blend the butter and flour together.
  4. Pour the butter and flour mixture into the boiling mixture.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Optional: sprinkle cheese on top before serving.
