Stromboli is a delightful rolled Italian-inspired bread filled with savory meats, cheese, and sautéed vegetables. Ingredients

  • 2 loaves frozen bread dough
  • 1/2 lb sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 lb ham
  • 1/2 lb cheese (Cheddar or Provolone)
  • mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Roll the thawed bread dough into an oblong shape.
  2. Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with oregano.
  3. Place the sliced pepperoni, ham, cheese, and sautéed mushrooms, onions, and green peppers in the center of the dough.
  4. Fold the long sides of the dough over the filling and pinch to close.
  5. Fold and roll the ends once and pinch to seal.
  6. Grease a pan with Pam or bake on a stoneware for best results.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
