Ingredients

  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup 10x sugar

Instructions

  1. Make the yellow cake according to the directions on the box.
  2. Remove 1 cup of the cake batter and place it in a medium bowl; add chopped nuts, brown sugar, and cinnamon, then mix well.
  3. Pour half of the remaining batter into a greased, floured Bundt cake pan.
  4. Spread the nut and cinnamon mixture evenly over the batter in the pan.
  5. Pour the remaining batter over the nut mixture in the pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for approximately 35 minutes or until done.
  7. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool slightly while still warm.
  8. Pour a glaze made of 10x sugar and water over the warm cake.
  9. Optional: Top with additional chopped nuts before serving.
